Inspired by the band, the man, the machine - THE HiP MACHINE brings you the music of The Tragically Hip the way it was meant to be heard — live. Darryl Aspin of Hitcher fame made his mark captivating audiences across the Durham Region with his strong vocal ability and high-energy performances. Behind him is a band of talented musicians, including guitarist Mike Rewegen, drummer Seth McNamara, bassist Stephen Reid, and Mike Marinuk on lead guitar. After six years as a founding member of another Ontario Hip tribute — he now showcases his dedication to the HiP guitar sound as our 'Robbie', with performances mirroring the albums and live HiP recordings.
Performing across Ontario THE HiP MACHINE has steadily made a name for themselves as a force in the live tribute scene — earning attention for their musicianship, authenticity, and an energetic show capturing the excitement near to the real thing.
