DREAMS! Music Awards 2026 presented by Invest Durham

The annual DREAMS! Music Awards 2026 proudly continues a tradition of celebrating musical excellence across Durham Region.

Through its award categories, live performances, and community partnerships, the DREAMS! Music Awards shines a spotlight on the extraordinary talent, creativity, and collaboration that define the region’s cultural landscape.

This year’s celebration will feature 14 award categories, live music performances, and two cornerstone honours. The Industry Leader Award is presented to a professional or organization whose innovation, mentorship, and dedication continue to elevate Durham Region’s music industry and economy. The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual or group whose sustained contributions have significantly shaped and strengthened the region’s music scene. In 2026, Ajax punk-rock legends Sum 41 will receive this honour and be inducted into the Durham Region Music Hall of Fame.
